2012 National Championship

   Tournament Information

DATES:               Saturday, September 1 – Monday, September 3, 2012

LOCATION:           The Oaks, 45750 Castile Canyon Rd, San Jacinto, CA 92581 (Soboba Indian Reservation)

DIVISIONS:           18 & Over – 18 Open, 18 & Over – Rookie Division

                       (Divisions will occur if 6 or more teams register before final deposit date)

                       (Open Division is the highest competitive level – high school & college experience)

                       (Rookie Division is no experience or youth Softball & some high school experience)

FORMAT:             “Pool” Play consisting 5 games for both divisions.

                       (Expanded Playoffs will be determined by the number of teams entered for each

                       division)

PLAYOFFS:             Quarter Finals if necessary, Semifinal, Championship games.

CHAMPIONSHIPS:      18 Open, 18 Rookies – Monday September 3, 2012

AWARDS:             Team Champions:  Team Trophy

                       Team Finalist:  Team Trophy

                       Championship game: Individual MVP, Individual Gold Glove

ENTRY FEE:           Player fee:   $110.00 (player fee if deposit is received before July 12, 2012)

                       Player fee:   $120.00 (player fee if deposit is received before August 3, 2012)

                       Player fee:   $140.00 (player fee if deposit is received after August 3, 2012)

NOTE:  No teams will be accepted after August.17, 2012

Liability and medical insurance for each participant, softballs, 2 umpire per game, 5 game guaranteed, expanded playoff formats for every division where applicable, awards for team champion and team finalist, awards for individual champions, awards for individual finalists, welcome party and expo, tournament program and map, and more. 

NOTE:   Rosters may exceed the WFSA maximum rule of 25 players.

WFSA reserves the right to refund and withdraw any team that does not meet the final payment deadline.

DISCOUNT FEE:        WFSA recognizes the support and loyalty of our WFSA teams. Upon registerin

                     for the tournament, if your team plays in one of our sanctioned WFSA Leagues

                     across the country you are eligible for an additional $10.00 discount to the

                     player fee.

                       Playing in one of our sanctioned leagues will be verified through the WFSA National

                       Office and participant contracts on file.

DEPOSITS:             All teams must submit a $350.00 (non-refundable) deposit to reserve a place in the

                       tournament.

                       Balance of the fee must be submitted by August 24, 2012.  All fees must be money

                       order or cashier check.  The WFSA also accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express,

                       Discover, and Electronic check, for your convenience.

HOTELS:               Rooms (King, Doubles) are being held for the WFSA by two area hotel properties.

                       (The Holiday Inn Banning, CA)

                       (The Hampton Inn and Suites Banning, CA)
